Privacy film technology comprises of a liquid crystal interlayer sandwiched between ITO and PET film layers. In its frosted state the liquid crystals are scattered in a way that causes light waves to refract and reflect away from the surface. When an electrical current is applied the liquid crystals then align allowing light to pass through making it transparent.
Smart technology provides unprecedented control over the amount of light, privacy and heat that enters a space and is ideal for commercial, residential, retail store, medical and automotive front applications. With this diversity, it is ideal for innovative projects for any space that requires flexibility in privacy to display screen, advertising display and other creative applications. Easy for installation on fixed windows, hinged doors, sliding doors and stacker doors.
Operation is all low voltage, with just a low power transformer required to plug into a nearby power outlet. The time taken by the switchable film to switch form transparent to opaque or vice versa is less than one second. The transition is quick and creates a wow effect. The film is less than one mm thick and when applied over an existing glass it flawlessly blends.

The privacy film technology can be easily installed onto any existing glass windows, partitions, acrylic screens, plexiglass or other transparent surfaces transforming it into instant switchable privacy.
The hard coated plastic outer layer provides protection and an electrostatic self-adhesive layer makes the installation to glass simple. This product is smart home compatible. When in off state the film is frosted and when activated the film becomes transparent.
As the name suggests this technology works opposite to the privacy film. Though the installation methodology is the same the operational experience is different. When in off state the film is transparent and when activated the film turns opaque.
The development of this reverse technology has required years of research input and dedicated discipline.

It is supplied in strips that are tiled together to create a continuous layer of film over the entire window area. The minimum strip width will be 10cm. Multiple combinations can be created to suit the style you need.
The liquid mix of polymer and liquid crystals is placed between two layers of glass or plastic that include a thin layer of a transparent, conductive material followed by curing of the polymer, thereby forming the basic sandwich structure of the smart glass. This way the film is secure between two glass pieces. Sandwich glass can be comprised of various types of glass to best fit a project's needs. Variable thickness of 12mm,14mm,16mm,18mm,20mm and more is available.

It is available in 4 colours (Pink, Blue, Orange and Green). Ideal for places where the glass wants to create a statement of its own.
The product is available in tinted black and tinted grey shades but the non-tinted ones are preferred because of its clarity in vision when turned on.
